Terms of use

Last updated 30 August 2026.

Not yet reviewed by a lawyer

A working draft. It covers use of the website only. It is not an engagement contract and does not govern a booking. Speaking, workshop and coaching engagements need their own written agreement, and that is a separate document that also needs legal review.

These terms

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What this site is

Information about speaking, coaching, facilitation and programmes offered by Annelize du Toit, and writing on leadership. Nothing on this site is professional, legal, financial or employment advice, and nothing here should be relied on as a substitute for advice about your own situation.

Enquiries are not bookings

Sending an enquiry does not create a booking, hold a date, or create any obligation on either side. An engagement exists only once it is confirmed in writing under a separate agreement covering fee, scope, dates, travel, cancellation and recording rights.

Content and copyright

The writing, talk outlines, frameworks and material on this site belong to Annelize du Toit. You are welcome to quote a short passage with attribution and a link. Reproducing a whole piece, or using this material to deliver your own training or programme, requires written permission.

Links out

Links to other sites are provided because they are useful. They are not an endorsement, and their content is not controlled from here.

Availability

The site is provided as it is. No promise is made that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those apply to you.

Law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction.
